Tree Planting Exercise

Steps To Participate

1. Get a seedling.
2. Plant the seedling at your private outdoor space or any location of choice.
3. The Tree Planting exercise should be recorded.
4. Say your name and location while recording.
5.  Video should not be more than 2 minutes and should be sent as an attachment to info@africatourismday.org.
Every African is encouraged to participate in the Africa Tourism Day Plant a Tree exercise.
Together we can mitigate the climate crisis.

Meet Ellyanne Wanjiku Githae

Africa Tourism Day Ambassador as she flags off the Plant A Tree programme to commemorate Africa Tourism Day 2020
Wanjiku is East Africa’s Youngest Climate Crisis Ambassador and Kenya’s Youngest Mashujaa (Heroe).
At 10 years old she’s planted 25,000 trees amongst thousand others planted in groups on World Environment Day.
